How to Become a Driving Instructor
The process involves three DVSA examinations. Vik provides expert support through Parts 2 and 3, helping you pass with confidence.
Part 1 — Theory Test
A multiple-choice and hazard perception test covering road safety, driving theory, and instructional knowledge. This is your entry point into the qualification process.
Part 2 — Driving Ability
An advanced driving test to assess your personal driving standard. You'll need to demonstrate expert-level vehicle control, road awareness, and safe driving at all times.
Part 3 — Instructional Ability
The final exam tests your ability to teach. You'll deliver a lesson to a DVSA examiner acting as a pupil, demonstrating your teaching skills, risk management, and lesson planning.
