1. General
These Terms and Conditions apply to all driving lessons and courses provided by Vik's Intensive Driving School. By booking and attending lessons, you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Lesson Booking & Payment
- All lessons and courses must be booked in advance.
- Payment must be made prior to or at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.
- Lesson prices are subject to change, but any prepaid lessons will be honoured at the agreed rate.
3. Cancellations & Notice Period
- A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required to cancel or rearrange a lesson.
- Lessons cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice may be charged in full.
4. Intensive Courses
- Payments for intensive courses are non-refundable.
- Course fees must be paid in full before the course start date unless otherwise agreed.
- Intensive course schedules are arranged in advance and may not be flexible once confirmed.
- Practical test fees are payable separately unless explicitly included in your course package.
5. Driving Tests
- It is the pupil's responsibility to ensure they hold a valid UK provisional or full licence.
- Pupils must bring their valid licence to every lesson and test.
- The instructor reserves the right to refuse the use of the tuition vehicle for a driving test if the pupil is not deemed test-ready or if safety concerns arise.
- No refund will be given for test-day lessons cancelled due to unsafe driving standards.
6. Fitness to Drive
Pupils must inform the instructor of any medical conditions, disabilities, or prescribed medication that may affect their ability to drive safely.
Lessons will not proceed if a pupil is under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substance that may impair driving ability.
7. Instructor Responsibilities
- The instructor will provide professional, structured tuition in a safe and roadworthy vehicle.
- The vehicle will be fully insured for tuition purposes.
- Every effort will be made to ensure lessons start and finish at the agreed times, though traffic or unforeseen circumstances may occasionally affect this.
8. Pupil Conduct
- Pupils are expected to behave respectfully at all times.
- Aggressive, abusive, or inappropriate behaviour will result in immediate termination of lessons. In such cases, no refund will be issued for any unused lessons.
- Pupils are requested to maintain reasonable cleanliness and personal hygiene during lessons to ensure a comfortable environment for both instructor and learner.
9. Refund Policy
- Refunds for unused prepaid lessons will be issued at the discretion of the instructor.
- Refunds will not be given for lessons already taken.
- Block bookings may be subject to an adjusted lesson rate if partially used.
10. Liability
While every effort is made to provide safe and professional tuition, Vik's Intensive Driving School cannot be held responsible for:
- Driving test outcomes
- Test cancellations by the DVSA
- Delays due to traffic, weather, or mechanical breakdown beyond reasonable control
11. Data Protection
Personal information provided will be used solely for the purpose of delivering driving tuition and managing bookings. Your data will not be shared with third parties without consent, except where legally required.
12. Changes to Terms
Vik's Intensive Driving School reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on the website.
